Oklahoma City, OK – InterBank announced today that the bank’s longtime Chief Executive Officer, Pascal Hosch, will be retiring effective December 31, 2023. Mr. Hosch will remain a member of the Board of Directors of both InterBank and the bank’s holding company Olney Bancshares of Texas, Inc.
Hosch began his career at InterBank thirty years ago in Coleman, TX. He subsequently became President of the bank’s Graham, TX location and became CEO of the combined bank in 2010. During his nearly fifty-year banking career, Hosch worked at nearly every job in the bank – from the teller line to the executive suite to the Board table. During his tenure as CEO, he oversaw several key acquisitions that deepened the bank’s footprint in Oklahoma and Texas – including the 2014 acquisition that brought the bank to the DFW Metroplex. During his time in leadership, InterBank grew to $4.2 billion in total assets and performance that ranks among the best banks in the country, all while retaining its footing as a community bank filled with small town people with small-town values.
“I had the great privilege of spending time working with some banking icons and wonderful mentors in my early years,” Hosch said in a letter to staff sent earlier this year. “I owe the chair I sit in today to Ross McKnight. He believed in another country boy 30 years ago and has given me the chance to help him grow our bank into something truly special. I was given the opportunity to bring his vision of banking to life.”
“Pascal and I both believe that a bank built on relationships is a bank everyone can count on for the long haul,” said Ross McKnight, Chairman of Olney Bancshares. “Pascal has been a wonderful leader for our organization, and we all wish him the very best in his retirement from day-to-day executive responsibilities.”
The bank named C.K. Lee, currently the bank’s President and Chief Operating Officer, as President and CEO effective January 1, 2024. Lee will remain President of Olney Bancshares of Texas, Inc. Lee joined the bank in July of 2020 following a career as a Congressional staff member, bank regulator, and investment banker covering banks in the Southwest.
“InterBank is a great bank with great people, great customers, and great ownership,” Lee said. “We are thankful for how far we’ve come under Pascal’s leadership, and I have learned something from him every day. We appreciate the confidence of our ownership and directors, and we are excited about our future.”
Lee will continue to work out of InterBank’s Fort Worth, TX location.
